Outside of the trains, the fee will also include stays in some of the best hotels around the world and entrance to plenty of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The train trip around the world will begin in Vancouver where you’ll hop aboard the Rocky Mountaineer and head into the Canadian Rockies. Over the course of three days, you’ll take in the sights of Lake Louise and Banff National Park.

You’ll then fly to Edinburgh, ticket not included in price, where you’ll begin a week-long tour through the Scottish highlands. Next up is an unforgettable journey from Paris to Venice on the Belmond Venice-Simplon Orient Express before heading for six nights on the Maharajas Express from Delhi to Mumbai.

After taking in the beauty of the Taj Mahal and other Indian landmarks, you’ll be departing from Istanbul and traveling for four nights through Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary.

To end the train trip around the world you’ll go from Pretoria to Cape Town onboard Rovos Rail before flying to Singapore to travel on the newly revamped Eastern and Oriental Express in Malaysia.

How much for such this train trip around the world we hear you crying? Well, it’s not cheap… We’re talking a starting price of $119,599 per person. That does include 52 nights of luxury hotel stays, a few flights, world-class meals, tours, and other perks, however.

Some of those tours include a hot air balloon ride above Cappadocia in Turkey, safari drives in Kruger National Park, and a nighttime tour of Rome inside a vintage car.
