Palm Springs, California

Spring break usually happens around the time of the well-known Coachella Music Festival in La Quinta and StageCoach Music Festival in Indio. Due to these events, many young people travel to the Palm Springs area to enjoy the warm weather in the desert.
Though many people tendo have fun in the same area, it is becoming an increasing problem for local residents and homeowners in Palm Springs. Out of concern for the potential destruction to their property, many people have difficulties renting out their homes during the spring season.
The areas around and on the concert grounds are littered with trash and broken glass which makes it harder for others to enjoy the whole area.

For decades, Fort Lauderdale has been known for being a party town. However, by the mid 80’s, the local communities began to feel the negative impacts of the seasonal tourist’ chaotic activities in their coastal town.
Since then, people from all parts of the U.S. and Canada drive down to Florida to have fun during spring break.
Regrettably, this means that motels and hotels along the beach strip are being transformed into makeshift dorm rooms, which offers little opportunity for peaceful vacations for the rest.

As a result, the beach has become a place for drunk, rowdy college students and broken bottles. It is nearly impossible for families, and other tourists, who live at or visit the beach, to enjoy the beach.

Because Tijuana is right next to California, it is a great place for young people to go drinking and partying.
Sadly, Tijuana has a high crime rate along with a weak economy that is dependent on tourists who visit the area to party. Due to the high influx of party-goers, cartel members have moved into the region to sell drugs and fireworks as well as take over legitimate business operations.
